About

I live for music. I listen to drum and bass, hiphop, downtempo, electronica, electro, house music, breakbeats and well, pretty much everything else too.

My obsession with music started at a very young age. I remember being about 3 or 4 years old, sitting with my grandfather and listening to all his old jazz records… Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Nat King Cole and the like. I was fascinated. He also had an old cassette recorder and a microphone and he would record me singing along to those great songs. I think that’s really when the engineering bug bit me. How funny that was years later when I found those tapes… I miss you gramps.

Fast forward 20 years or so and here we are. I recently graduated from SAE Amsterdam with my audio engineering degree, and have since moved back to the States to pursue a career as a recording and mix engineer. This site is my online showcase of all of the projects I have worked on, whether it’s recording, mixing, producing, arranging or some combination of all of these things. It also houses my personal blog, in which I like to ramble on and on about music, production, technology and all sorts of other interesting things.

I like visual arts as well, graphic design and photography. I dabble in a little bit of both. I’m sure at some point there will be some graphics/photo work integrated into the site, but I’m planning on keeping it all music related.
