Man, it feels good… { 5 }

I’m done with school! All assignments are done and turned in and my final project is mixed and mastered. Just have to sweat it out for a couple of weeks until the results are out…

I’m pretty happy with the way the final turned out. The song is called If We Had a Say. It’s co-produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by yours truly. Have a listen and tell me what you think! :)

    Hmm.

    Needs more cowbell!

    Kidding :) sounds great! Very clean mix with a lot of transparency. When are you dropping the Dubstep remix? ;)

    hey thanks adam!! that means a lot coming from you, you know your sounds! i am pretty happy with the way the project turned out and i’m glad it’s put to bed… although i am thinking of re-recording the drums when i get home. there was a lot of processing going on to make the drums sound the way they did. initially the song was inteded to be an acoustic number with light drumming and just a little electric guitar to fill out the sound, but i went completely the opposite way and really tried to make it rock! :)

    hey, it is transparent, tho i think it is far from say…a radio mix .id say the intro sounds good…but plain and boring…(more excitment would be nice)//drums too loud perhaps…
    Transients ??? ….1st verse…snare masking a bit the vox…
    Choruos ?? nice try…i’d like something more refined really ..
    they mix’s a bit boring …it’s quite transparent i agree …nice job
    it needs some movement..how about some effect splashing for a change?
    real nice try man…just step it uo a bit and maybe we’ll listen to you in the radio not so far away

    Very clean and crisp sound Sebby. I like that it’s a radio hit, but that could just be my style of music. I am so proud of you! I can not wait to hear more of what you do in the future. Love ya and miss you much.
