this past few days have been somewhat of a whirlwind… i don’t quite know what to make of everything yet.

i went to berlin on wednesday with about 50 other students from sae amsterdam and rotterdam. we hit up the sae alumni convention, which was really awesome. if only i spoke german, i would switch to sae berlin in a heartbeat. don’t get me wrong, i love amsterdam; but sae berlin is huge, and pretty much blows amsterdam out of the water in terms of the facilities. we saw a ton of really cool gear on display, but i was a bit disappointed with the lectures and seminars… even some of the ones slated to be in english, ended up being in german. but aside from that the rest of the experience was great.

partying in berlin was crazy too! i still haven’t recovered. the alumni party on thursday night was crazy… drunken debauchery at its finest. let’s just say that it wasn’t all good, but it was an experience to learn from; i can appreciate it for that, but i definitely wouldn’t want to go through it again.

but the best thing about the whole trip… i met someone. and she sings! she’s perfect… for my final project i mean. ok, maybe i have a bit of a crush on her, so what! i just think she’s rad… super talented… reeeeally cute.
