well, it’s been 3 weeks since my arrival here in amsterdam, and like the topic says…

i’ve been busy with getting settled in… getting better oriented with everything, including where to eat, shop, drink, smoke and party. so far i’ve gotten pretty competent with the public transportation system, including metro’s, trams, busses, ferries and trains :)  and my dutch is coming along too!  i’ve started understanding more and more on television and in daily interactions, so that’s exciting.

i’m still trying to turn my room into more of a home… got a couple posters and stuff. it’s totally like starting over, which is cool… it’s good to wipe the slate clean every once in a while.  i bought a guitar off my old roomate the other day too.  it’s an acoustic and damn my fingers are killing me.  gotta get used to the action..  ouch.   but it’s okay… i’m just gonna be as artistic as i possibly can while i’m here, working on music, drawing, coloring and designing shit :)
